    Hi louise

Try elleste solo 40 patch ask your doctor its an oestrogen only hrt. Its a bit trial and error the whole hrt thing but works for me and easy with being a patch. You just change 2 per week . Is worth sticking just above your bum on the side the your underwear will stop it rubbing and falling off.

Lousie, sorry you going through such a nightmare. Please do also consider estrogel pump you put onto to your skin, you can take a maxium 4 pumps a day and can manage what works better for you x

I have not slept well since aug 2017 since hyst. I take 2 meds for sleep and only slept two hours last nite.  I also suffer from vaginal atrophy.  Missed 5 months of work the pain and infections were so bad.  I’ve tried all the natural stuff and nothing works.  Been to psychologist psychiatrist and no one helps me.

    Hello Louise

I am sorry to hear that you are having a hard time.  Menopause does tend to have an effect on sleeping.  Have you considered going on HRT?  Have you discussed with your GP?  You do not say where you live so I don't know what the system is.  Personally, I went to a gynaecologist who specialised in hormones - fertility/HRT menopause.  There are some fears about HRT but provided you have good monitoring the benefits outweigh the risks, in my opinion anyway.

    All the best, Lyn
