Hello Amy 2 things worked for me, magnesium, drinking lots of water and something my Dr told me to do once my racing heart started. Try calming yourself down, sit, breath in, then hold your nose , still taking in that deep breath, still holding your nostrils together, bare down, neck to chest, hold 10 seconds, then repeat 2 times. This helped me tremendously. Doing this slows down something in your heart, i forgot the name but it worked. When i first entered peri this was one of my worst symptoms, now 3 and a half yrs in, i don't get them anyone. In time you will find symptoms leaving. Also diet comes into play. Eat less sugar, up fruits and veg. I hope this helps. God bless and hugs.
