Hey Ladies...

We are ALL aware, menopause is a friggin tsunami! It brings soooo... many NEGATIVE changes to who we are as womenfolk. That being said, how do each one of you maintain your sanity during the three menopausal journeys?

I am new to this Menopause crap! I swear I have been going through it for quite some time but the bloodwork indicates otherwise. The first thing to go was the libido about 3 yrs ago, now I am fighting with exhaustion, high anxiety (I worry that I have every medical condition under the sun) loss of appetite, irritable, loss of interest, depressed, list goes on and on. I do still get my period monthly but it is irregular. I hate the way I feel... I just want my old self back. I think I am at a bath a night soaking in epsom salt... I will try anything to take the stress and anxiety away.

It really isn't fair that women have to go through this 😦

i am just starting hrt and I'm just hoping it will make a difference. Menopause hit me suddenly it seems. I thought I was still in perimenopause but suddenly had terrible symptoms that seemed to hit out of nowhere and blood test show extreme almost non existent estrogen. hot flashes, heart palpitations, hair loss etc. I think the getting older part is the worst thing for me so far. I hate looking in the mirror and every day seeing new changes for the worse. no matter how hard I try to fight it and fight back it just seems like a losing battle. the only thing helping me get through it now is I guess the hope that the hrt will help me. it's also doesn't make it any easier that my marriage is awful and I'm so lonely. it's a sad process but I guess just keep fighting through it. I exercise and that too makes me feel better and gets me through some of the insanity.
