Menopause misery!!

My periods stopped in my late 39's and I was told I was infertile. I was on depo then the pill continuously so I did not re-start periods again. Now aged 50 and the past 18 months sweats which I assumed was menopause was getting beyond a joke so started Evorel conti patches 2 weeks ago and stopped the pill. The sweats almost stopped and not having to change the bedding at night but yesterday bleeding started, light but horrid period cramps..help!! I really don't or can't bare periods again , what can I do to stop this bleeding? Dr is all but useless so I want a phone consultation to save wasting a dr slot in the surgery as they are busy but I want to be prepared. I had to beg to start HRT as the dr was against it. Can anyone recommend what I should do or ask? Many thanks

    Hi there,

    I asked to be referred to you a menopaused clinic that is dedicated specialists who will advise you properly. Are you in the UK ?
