Hello everyone haven't been here in a while , I was improving slowly but was seeing improvement , I hadn't drank in maybe 10 months . Around the 8th month I'll have a beer maybe like every 3 weeks. But last week I drank more in the fair I went too, and then a gathering with friends and then another at a party with friends. Every since sunday (mostly Monday) I've been feeling out of it mentally , i feel somewhat anxious , somewhat depression but I just feel weird , like my mind wants to race too much and just idk out of it hard to explain. I feel tired too. Really tired. Like I ran a marathon or something haha hadn't felt like this in a while. Anyone get like this after drinking too? I've had anxiety disorder for about a year and 2 monhs

    Hi Eduardo

Did you know that drinking alcohol may have caused your Anxiety disorder?  It also exaberates it. Alcohol changes levels of serotonin and other neurotransmitters in the brain, which can worsen anxiety. In fact, you may feel more anxious after the alcohol wears off. Alcohol-induced anxiety can last for several hours, or even for an entire day after drinking.

Sadly I know what caused my anxiety disorder it wasn't the alchohol rolleyes but I'm sure it does make anxiety worse ! I just took it out of hand this time I didn't get drunk or anything just drank more than my usual "one beer at most" rule I drank liquor this time , I didn't know about the serotonin levels it could affect tho!  Crazy! I've been out of it since then , I feel like I backtracked , I'm tired and just feel wierd and restless. My body feels sore for no reason. I use to get these symptoms a lot months ago but I had gotten 80% passed them if anything but it's like I'm back at 40% now . Sucks ! I hope it goes away next week or somethjng

I did want too but it will only add to my already existing problems. I only think about it when I'm really down though. (Depressed) Try to refrain from drinking alcohol. I've heard others with Anxiety struggle afterwards drinking beer or doing weed. Only makes your Anxiety worse. 👍
