Mesh free Inguinal hernia repair - Dr John Garvey(Australia) / Dr Gerald Young (NZ) results

Hi,

I'm finding it difficult to find any good information in Australia and NZ on mesh-free surgery (inguinal). It seem there are only 2 surgeons offering this procedure:

-Dr Garvey in Sydney, Australia. He lists both Moloney and Desarda on his website, but I cannot find any reference on these forums to anyone who has had the Desarda repair.

-Dr Young in Auckland, NZ. He does Desarda (and mesh) and has done over 400 Desarda operations.

If there are any other readers out there who would be willing to share:

-Which surgeon Dr Garvey or Dr Young you had your procedure with?

-When you had surgery?

-Which technique?

-How you are feeling now?

...I would be really grateful and I think a lot of other forum users would too 😃
