I missed a pill during the 21 days meaning I had an extra pill left in my pack. I accidentally took this pill on the 22nd day (the first day of my "7-day break). I had unprotected sex on the first day of my break as well. Am I still protected or should I start a new pack right away? what do I do?

You should be fine because you have taken them consecutively for a full 3 weeks so are protected for the remaining week, despite missing one. No worries.
