Metabolislzing differently?

Posted , 3 users are following.

This past weekend I started taking one 50mg tablet of Zoloft. I was taking two 25mg tablets before. My GP changed my prescription so that I would have more medication at a time. I woke up the next morning feeling nauseous and had a minor panic attack. Could this be metabolizing differently? Or is this normal to have these symptoms again? I feel like crap and hate feeling this way. Thanks

You are going to feel side effects anytime you up your dosage. I just upped mine from 100 to 150 4 weeks ago. Felt every side effect possible! Nausea, headaches, lack of appetite. It will also raise your anxiety too. Let your body get used to the new dosage and you'll be fine. I'm just now feeling like myself. It will take a while but you WILL persevere! **Shasmo**

That’s the weird part, I didn’t up my dose. Instead of taking two 25mg pills now I take one 50mg.

Probably could have the same effect? Getting it all at once and not in two pills? I don't know. Hopefully the effects won't stay long!

Hi Adam. I had the same experience going from 50 to 100. I had a few more weeks of 50mg and was told to take 2 then fill the RX for 100 when those were gone. Definitely felt the impact of the 100mg pills in the same way as you. It's slowly getting better but you're definitely not alone there.

Thanks Frankie. Heading to Münich this weekend and a little worried about feeling like this. Hope it’s better by then.
