Hello everyone! Today is my first day for taking this drug. I have read many posts concerning weight gain with this drug.I am taking 25mg once a week. Weight gain has always been a struggle for me. Is this fairly common or does it differ with everyone. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Totally natural to feel anxious about taking this drug, I think many of us feel it's a harsh treatment. I am on a lower dose and haven't had any issue with weight gain, but I don't know if this is dose related or not. To be honest it makes me feel quite unwell a lot of the time so puts me off my food. Ultimately you have to weigh up the benefits against the side effects and decide whether to pursue the treatment. It's worth talking to your dermatologist or GP about any side effects you are worried about to see how they might help. Let us know how you get on.

Thank you clare88367. I developed psoriasis 2 years ago. Came out of the blue but found out it's hereditary. I also have developed the arthritis that goes along with it. Took my first dose this morning. Gave me a headache and I still feel very tired. I guess it affects everyone differently . I will post my progress as time goes on. Thank you for responding!
