Methotrexate who's on? Thoughts??

Hi, I am in a few weeks to start methotrexate, I can't start azathaprine due to low stomach enzymes therefore body would not respond. IM currently on steriods reducing dose as had a really bad flare worst yet! I'm going in today for a transfusion as my hb has been sitting at 8 for a while! Feel like crap really. Although steriods hav controlled uc for now I'm just really worried about change over to new drug. Anybody taking???? What are ur thoughts??

    Hi Kerry I'm on methotrexate for my Rheumatoid arthritis I hate it tbh but seems to work for me.....just makes me feel sick for a few days I inject mine weekly I used to take tablets x

      Yeah it can work for all sorts of conditions. Do u take folic acid also for the sickness? Glad it's working for you. Do u have regular blood test?

    Yeh i take folic acid aswell , and have bloods done every three month now it used to be monthly at the beginning x
