Metoprolol withdrawal success using herbs

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have been completely off Metoprolol for 3 days now, after tapering for a few days from 12.5 mg to half that, then nothing. It's always been very very hard and I've never been able to do it until now. I did some research on herbs and am taking Hawthorn, Motherwort, Skullcap, and Lemon Balm. I mix the tincture in equal parts and am still experimenting with proper dose. I need to take it every 3-4 hours around the clock since symptoms are worse during the night. Just wanted to share that these herbs make it much easier, whereas before it was impossible. Still get tachy, dizzy, anxious, head zaps, but I take some herbal tincture and they go away after 30 minutes. They come back after a few hours so I take another dose.

You might try another beta blocker, and in small doses, to see if it works better.

And you may try dark chocolate, which has natural beta blockers.

Taking even a natural concoction six times a day doesn't sound like something you want to do long term.
