what is everyones experience with the metro gel?
Did it work?
side effects?
I am nervous about antibiotics and tummy troubles.
I assume the cream is better than the pills for that?

they work to get rid of bv, but often times it gives you a yeast infection because it cleans out ALL bacteria, not just bad bacteria.

okay
im going on vacay in 7 days so for now I'll take temp fix lol.
my symptoms are not horrible as far as odor and discharge. I'm very uncomfortable though with dryness and burning.

very true! cures for the time being. ive been getting recurring bv for about 3 years now. But i recently started taking probiotics and vitamins, changed my diet a bit, and can no longer take baths or use certain tampons (shouldnt use them at all, but i hate pads)

I might try that cause the metro gel is sucking the life out of me.
day 2 and I only filled the applicator a little over half way. I still woke up middle of the night sweaty and nausea.
just starting to feel a bit more my
self hours after waking.

so I started last night and feel like crud today.
Should I expect the side effects to improve the more its in my system or worsen?
right now its headache, tired and nausea.
I came into work part of the day but really want to stay in bed.
I'm afraid it will turn into vomiting or other tummy problems.
not sure if I can or even should continue.

ok this is what im here for. i shaved three days ago and ive been on the medicine for 2 days. now i have discomfort and a nasty rash. i am scared. i was tested the 7th for everything. no blood work tho. i would love to post a picture and see if anyone thinks this could be something worse. i have the same partner

I do remember reading something about a rash on the package insert so maybe it is a side effect.

METRO GEL WILL WORK FOR A LITTLE WHILE, after a couple months my body stopped responding to it. youll feel swollen and youll become sensitive from too many inserts. Did not enjoy the side effects either. After 6 doctors and 7 medications later, I am trying the more natural approach.
