Micro-enema?

I suffer from consitpation, and I am always looking for an effective solution, but I have been nervous to try micro-enemas.  Does anyone have experience with these?  What are the pros/cons for micro-enemas in your experiences?  Was there any pain associated with this?  Thank you!
