Microgynon 30 ED

Hello My names Dee,

I hace brown patches on my face and my doctor has told me they may be a side effect from the contraceptive pill,but that is just a possibility.I don't want to change my method of contraception but i'm willing to if these brown patched diassappear my doctor doesn't seem to know a lot and theres just no way I can afford to see a dematologist.

Is there any cream i can use.

Any help would be very appreciated.

    Avoid sun and exfolied your skin as well try to use cream with SPF 30

    Hey, iv just had my 7 day break, and i have started taking the pill again, how long does it take to become effective again??

    The pill is effective even during the 7 day break, so it's effective as long as you stick to the 28 day cycle. If you're a day late taking it after the break you should use another type of contraceptive for a week just to be on the safe side.

    As for Microgynon, everyone I know who takes it has problems. A lot of my friends have come off the pill cos this is the first one they take. When I started taking Microgynon I had blinding headaches and would be vomitting every day. When I went to my doctor he put me on Mercilon and although at first it made me more emotional I've had no weight gain problems or illness brought on by it.
