Microvascular Decompression For HFS

Hi

I am 41 and i have been told today that i need Microvascular Decompression surgery for my HFS. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and it has got a lot worse over time and massively affecting my quality of life.

My baby girl is almost 1 and i am really scared about having this surgery as I don't know when i we be well enough to hold/ carry her after the op ? and how long recovery will take ?

any advice would be greatly appreciated xx
