Mid Foot Fusion Pain

Its been almost two weeks since my mid foot fusion. Let me tell you. Its been a widly painful experience. I have to do compression wraps 3X's a week and I'm on a boot. Non weight bearing of course. I have been having the worst nerve pain that shoots up my leg and it feels like my foot is being stuck in boiling hot water. Does this happen to anyone else? And what are some tricks to alleviate the pain. PLEASE HELP ME
