Does anyone deal with midthoracic pain as well as pain the last 2-3 ribs on the left side? Ive had this, on and off, for about 9 months but is getting more consistent and painful. It really worries me if what it could be. I have also started having flutter like feelings on the same side and wondered if its related at all?.

There are any number of things that could cause that - if it is really annoying you should see your regular doctor. The lower ribs are easily bruised or fractured. My wife had lower rib pain once that turned out to be pleurisy (which is easily treated with antibiotics). Or it could be any number of things.
If any condition persists more than a week or two, or if it causes distracting pain or interferes with the quality of your life, you should go talk to your general doctor and let them recommend the kind of specialist you might need to see.
