Middle abdominal pain

I have lower abdomen cramp past two month. Last week I've been to gastroenterologist and prescribed blood test. In the Test the c reactive protein level is 12 which he told is high. Next day colonoscopy is done he told nothing to worry no biopsy taken. Mild inflammation and he prescribed me IBS medicines for two weeks. Does anybody have similar experience .

Has your doctor diagnosed IBS since you are on IBS medication?

Have you noticed any improvement with your medication and have you been told what condition has caused the inflammation?

He told there are many conditions. But not specific. I am feeling better the frequency of pain coming has come down but not fully. I have noticed the pain/ cramp come during the evening. I even noticed the stomach is bulged out with gas. Morning no symptoms.

    Hi! Is your pain constant?

No pain is not constant. Since medication burping is more it used to be loose stools now slight constipation . Mostly I feel the pain / cramp during the evening between 3 to 8. As soon as I have my dinner it slowly goes away

My pain started as constant for three and a half months. After my IBS diagnosis, the pain got better and now only comes and goes.

Hi, have you been prescribed any new medications?  Sometimes it can be the result of even an old medication after it has had time to build up in the body.
