Middle back pain and shoulder blade pain with acid refulx.

My doctor has said its caused by my reflux and anxiety and would like to know if others get this?? Also breast bone pain? xx

    Your doctor is probably right . Your esophagus very likely hurts from the reflux , and the pain radiates out to the back and breastbone . That kind of pain can create a lot of anxiety , the first time I had it I thought I was having a heart attack .

      Had this on and off for 2 months now. It came back last night so of course so did my anxiety. My doctor has put me on different meds for my reflux but has said it can take a few weeks for them to work properly xx

    Hi bev

    I had same pain as you in same places for two years, I was put on omeprazole which did very little good so I stopped about 3monthsago S I was very worried about long term side effects, now I take ranitidine 150mg twice a day and try to watch my diet and so far I have been very good, I know it could all flare up again any time but I am hoping it won't
