Might have diabetus?

Hi,
I've been ill for three years now and no one can get to the cause of it. I've been complaining of fatigue, weakness, weight loss (everyone including my doc thinks I have an eating disorder which i don't)!! So frustrating. Doesn't help cause i did have one in the past.
I've fainted four times in my life and no one has really looked into it. An ambulance came once and checked me over said my blood sugar was low and just told me to go get a milkshake from macdonalds instead of me waiting in a&e for 5 hours. Docs haven't seemed bothered. All the symptoms seem to fit.
Lost a lot of weight a few years ago which I've maintained but lately have lost more (probs due to stress) not intentional at all, but been feeling nausea when I'm hungry and when I eat I feel better but sometimes can be other way round.
All general blood work fbc, kidney, liver, thyroid, eye test, heart are all normal.
Today my doc found Ketones in my urine and she begged me to eat (lately I'm stressed and have no appetite), reoccurring UTIs, never feel like I can get my thirst even after drinking loads all I drink is water, frequent urination. muscles aches it started in just my hands and feet but has now turned to my legs aswell. It's not pins or needles or needles it's like shooting pains, it moves all over my body. a bit of swelling in my feet, Heart palpitations now and again, tension headaches sometimes, never been a headache sufferer. A funny taste in my mouth.
Feel like I'm going crazy.

Have a FULL thyroid panel done, not just TSH. At the onset of my thyroid disease, I had recurring UTIs, with no previous history of UTIs.

I'm sorry you are feeling so unwell - there is a lot of 'flu type things going around but I suggest you ask you doctor to check your Folate level and give you a trial of B12 injections if for no other reason than to rule a deficiency as a cause for your symptoms.
Take care now.

Emma, You'll have to get your head straight enough to try and get a sense of what's going on in your body enough to know what sort of specialist to see. In addition to B deficiency, magnesium, D and other deficiencies can cause symptoms.
First, you need to eat enough protein and drink enough liquids. Keep your diet really good and consider eliminating wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, sugar, corn. Get a good quality multivitamin and mineral supplement with coblimated B vitamins. Get a glucose monitor and strips and read up on controlling diabetes with diet, check your glucose levels. Youl need to learn how to do this. If you can do this for a couple weeks, you can eliminate these allergens and deficiencies as causes, either you'll see improvement or you won't. You could try the diet and supplements for three weeks, then if that doesn't seem to help enough, add checking your blood glucose.
you mention sweating. This could be high blood sugar, thyroid problems or even infectious disease, or bacterial infection. You'll need to listen to your body.

Went to a&e in abulance as I fainted today, they did all standard checks, blood pressure, standing and sitting, temp, a patassium and sault blood test and levels of oxygen going through my colon lol! A ECG. Physicial exam of my tummy as I'm having pain Blood pressure bit low but they put it down to not eating great at the moment and drinking. They weren't to concerned. So frustrating. Everyone thinks it's because I had an eating disorder in the past and are blaming my mental health and I'm trying to tell everyone I feel generally unwell. I feel like no one is listening. I'm losing weight by the day. I can't afford to lose anymore. But I feel full up even after a biscuit.
If it was something serious would of they found it by now? I've had serveral a&e trips in the past two months.
