I was getting then aleast 2 times month and would take aleast a week for the migraine and its symptoms to fully clear. so i started taking chelated magnesium. This was 6 months ago and ive not had one since. if anyone is having trouble migraines you should take chelated magnesium

If anyone has also had similar results with chelated magnesium or with anyother kind if magnesium please share.

I took magnesium + riboflavin for about 6 months and it didn't make any difference, I suppose we're all different at the end of the day.

Hi Jamie my migraines came back after 10 years and my naturopath immediately told me to take magnesium powder. I also went back to my chiropractor whose treatment had me migraine free for 10 years

Yes. After having them most days the past years, I started taking  a product with 400 mg of magnesium as well as riboflavin and feverfew. It has helped more than anything else. I take 200mg 2 x a day to lessen the laxative effects of magnesium.

Yes, it does, but I’m taking 200mg of Magnesium Citrate twice a day which seems to help. It’s in combination with riboflavin, feverfew and butterbur.  I’ve tried magnesium before but could never tolerate it. It’s called Preventa Migraine on Amazon. I’m in US. Of all things I’ve tried sice the migraines became almost daily, this is helping the most so far. I’m willing to take Imodium if necessary to keep taking this.

I also have IBS although it's under control for now. Possibly magnesium helps.  Chelated magnesium is a lot easier on your stomach. I also bathe in epsom salts regularly which is another way to get your magnesium.  Maybe you could start with a small dosage, say 25 or 50mg and work your way up to 100 mg if you can tolerate it. Make sure that there are no drug interactions.

omg, yes magnesium works wonderful!  I now get it from foods such as nuts, those with high mag count and of course the vitamin riboflavin.  Too, "Asutra" company has a wonderful product-Magnesium spray.
