Migraine?

I have been struggling with migraines since Christmas... I have pain on one side of my head and numbness and cold feeling on face and arms... and the left side of my body feels a little weak... fingers area little tingly... I was given imitrex which takes the pain awa y for a while but the numbness always seems to be there... I go back to the dr tomorrow but I always fear the worst.. Has anybody else had these experiences and how long do they last? Thanks in advanced for helping!

    Hi,

    Theses symptoms need investigating at hospital.  I get these and I always need an ambulance to take me to hospital.

    Do you have trouble with speach as well?

    It could be hemiplegic migraine or another condition, which you need an mri scan for.

      I didn’t go to hospital.. all scans and test were normal.. I am feeling much better today.. they said it was def a migraine.. thank you for your input to get me there and ease my mind.. hope your feeling  well smile
