Migraine every evening

I'm probably not experiencing a migraine but I'm unsure what it is. Basically, every evening I get extreme light sensitivity/noise sensitivity but mainly light. I get a really stuffy/tension headache at the front and now I usually end up sleeping early. It makes me feel incredibly nauseous too. Is it due to my medication? (none of them has changed). And when these migraines started I've also got intense chest pain which I believe to be costochondritis (been dx with it) I'm 17. I'm on citalopram. risperidone, propranolol, omeprazole, microgynon, folic acid and ferrous sulphate. Please give me some ideas on what it may be I hope it just passes!

Hi that kind of migraine and costochondritis point to possible auto immune type of disorder which I have too and have had most of my life.

Not sure who you have seen. Is it just your gp? You could do with a specialist opinion. X

Thanks so much - funny you should mention that, i just had an MRI for my spine to rule out  ankylosing spondylitis because I’m HLA-B27 positive. I’ve seen a rheumatologist but if it’s worth seeing a GP I’ll try call them today before the weekend? Thanks!

Hi ni. Stick with rhematlogist. I personally was negative on the test but still have vasculitis.

In a way you are very fortunate it showed up. Diagnosis should be easy and treatment should follow. That will make life easier for you.

On the downside it does mean you have to live with this disorder. But take heart, I have found great treatment and have been almost without symptoms for 4 years.

Are you based in UK? If so I can reccommend a great help group where you can discuss symptoms and problems you may be having.
