CN anyone help me, please.

Ive been told by my neurologist that I suffer from the above. It's not a very clear diagnose for me and I'm confused.

i am a single parent of two and suffered from the above for four years following a head injury, which resulted in blood coming out of my ear, to a inner ear infection to seizures of different severities.

I now suffer from general anxiety disorder as a result of having so many seizures and fear to go out as well as being around people  as I get very embarrished and am light sensitive.

I use to be so confident and out going person, and was a work-a-holic, reduced to a non exsistant person who fears just to come out of my house.

i don't have anyone to talk to about my conditions and have no friends as I was moved up north due to my ex partner who caused my head injuries.

I am new to this site so not sure what to write.

I also suffer from Raynaurds, bowel adhesions, IBS, autoimmune disorder and acid reflux.

I was booked in to have an endoscopy, as I'm suffering from a suspected stomach ulcer, only for it to be canceled at the last min, as I'm too high risk to have it done due to my seizures. I have also be diagnosed with fibromyalgia due to sever vitamin D, calcium and B12 deficiency and a blood disorder, as if I don't have enough

    Hi Samantha

I was given the same diagnosis of Aura of migraine from a neurosurgeon years ago and prescribed betablockers which helped-i used to get numbness down the side of my face, fizzing noise in my ear and feel as if i was blacking out, but only oneside of me, if that makes sence.  I do suffer from migraines which runs in my family but anytime ive mentioned this diagnosis of 'Aura of Migraine' to ANY doctor since they dont seen toknow what im talking about.  I dont get it anymore and have stopped taking the betablockers but have had 2 instances of blacking out since (once with a seizure). I can totally understand your fear of it happening again-although I wasnt aware of taking the fit my husband and 2 children were traumatised by it.

I hope youfind this site useful... I have used it before for different things and always get good advice and support!

Thank you for your reply. I been given Epilim, they worked for a while then they came back and my medication was increased, which I am in the process of. I have a high metabolism and since they are slow releasing my body burns them off too quickly. I have seizures every day and it's really scary for me and my two girl. My eldest is great and helps out a lot.

but your right, the doctors don't really give much explaination or really understand. I can't have beta blockers due to other health conditions and medication.
