Wow at 8 weeks I was still on and off the bed could barely walk the stairs lol still 12 weeks and still using 2 crutches when I go out. Take it easy you don't want to hurt yourself more. I'd love to clean my house and garden up 🏡😢 take care 😊

I am 11 weeks post op and I too tend to over do it and find myself having to rest for a long while.  Disappointing for sure.  I have no pain but my leg becomes so weak and heavy that I can barely lift it and resting is the only thing I can do.  Makes everything I need to do take forever.  But I know we will heal, we just have to be patient.  Good luck and rest!

yes,i learned the hard way you just have to go steady and let your body heal.i know its very frustrating and depressing when stuff needs doing, and perhaps youre on your own-i was-and desperate to walk my dogs again-had many set backs.im afraid you just have to accept it.im 14 weeks post op now,and still improving-i can walk quite well with one stick(and 3 dogs)once for two hours-i ached, but felt better after a good rest,.good luck x

Dear Mikr sorry to hear of your set back.I would rest up until you can be seen by your surgeon and I would press for an urgent appointment.

    Good luck. Richard

Always be careful!! Especially since you just had surgery!! I was out a couple of months after surgery...felt fine but too much too soon made my hip hurt!  Rested a couple of days...and I was ok again! But I did slip at work once like 8 months after my surgery and I didn’t fall...just kinda did the splits landing on one knee...but I had done something to the muscle....now I get a pain in the joint every so often...

Hope everything is ok with you!! And take care!!
