    Hi,

It depends really from person to person and whether it worsens over time.

I had moderate/severe aortic regurgitation for years and years with no symptoms.

They will only operate if it effects your life

What was the initial reason for your echo?

My heart echo showed mild mitral valve leakage with an ejection fraction 50-59%.

?As a 72 yr old male this seems to be not unusual just something my cardiologist says needs to be kept an eye on.

?BTW a article I just read says you shouldn't be worried intil your ejection fraction is less than 27%.
