Mild pancreatitis aged 31

hello everyone

i was admitted into hospital last week with amylase levels of 460 mild attack.

im not a heavy drinker no gall bladder stones found and the consultant did not know what caused the attack

i had a big carbohydrate based meal and a pint an hour before i started getting the pain. i feel this played a part in the flare up, has anyone had the same experience ?

could a gluten intolarence be a factor ?

all they have told me is to stop drinking compeltely.
