    Hi Ross,

Do you eat meat and fish? you could try the paleo (Stone Age) diet, but just not eating eggs. There is plenty on the internet about it, including lots of recipes. This way of eating excludes grains and dairy, also peas and beans, but there is no reason you can't adapt it and add everything you can eat. The paleo way of eating seems to have helped my chronic fatigue a lot.

    Cheers

You just invented a new diet! quick get a book out about it!

Dambudzo has good advice about seeing a dietician, so you can make sure your diet is well balanced. Other than that, you will need to read a lot of labels before you buy stuff. But labelling is pretty good now and there are many more branded foods now which are labelled with allergen advice, or dairy/yeast/nut/whatever free. Good luck with it; it can seem daunting at first but once you have sorted out you will be fine. Listen to your body, it will let you know if you have taken in something which it doesn't like!

As a matter of interest, how did you find out you were intolerant?

Yes it will be fine, and i will look in to seeing a dietitian. I used The Intorlenrace Testing Group... which i thought was very good.

i hope that they explained the difference between intolerance and allergy?

a dietitian should be able to clarify everything for you. don't be shy to ask questions - maybe make some notes before you go, to make sure that you don't forget.

      good luck!

    Hi Ross

As a first step to get reliable trustworthy information, I'd suggest that you contact the British Dietetic Association. Their webpage is https://www.bda.uk.com/

If it was your GP who demsontrated that you are intolerant to these things then your GP should be able to refer you to the local dietetic services.

There are dietetic associations in other countries also. I think in USA a dietitian is called a nutritionist. Here in the UK it is a dietitician who is qualified to assess, diagnose and treat diet and nutrition problems for individuals.

You have asked a very valid question because it will be important to find a way to maintain a properly balanced diet.

    hope that this helps

    Best wishes

    Hi Ross

for some reason my earlier response has not appeared as it is being moderated, whatever that means. I was merely suggesting that you should contact the British Dietetic association. And / or speak to your GP to get a referral. If in the UK, see a dietitian as they are qualified to give appropriate advice. (I am not a dietitian myself).

    best wishes

    Hi,

that must have been a shock for you to find that you can't tolerate these foods which fomr a staple part of the normal dier for everyone of us. However the milk, diery intolerance is not hard to deal with. I also do not eat anything diary and have found that quiet easy to replace with either coconut, almond or even soya milk. Instead of butter there are diary free margarines on the market made either with soya or olive oil and they taste fine. I found it hard to replace bread (because of the yeast I do notlike bread). There are flat bread you can make. Then there is the point that the yeast used in the bought breads is not a very healthy yeast I am now baking my own bread made with my own soudough (sourdough also has yeast but it is yeast which is more natural and develpoes natural when making it and I can tolerate this).

    Hope this helps

Thanks for all the information and advise, I have totally cut out all of the intolerance and the results of cutting these out have been really good and happen straight away.

You may have digestive problems and yeast overgroth.

For digestion, try digestive enzyme supplements. These contain enzimes that will help you with eggs and milk. As for milk, try lactose free milk.

For yeast, take probiotics to balance out the candida fungus in your stomach. Then take monolaurin, caprylic acid and olive leaf extracts to kill off the yeast fungus in your gut.

Avoid taking antibiotics because they contribute to your intolerance of these things.

No, I don't think so that such things are harmful for you because you can get a large quantity of protein from all of such things, still if you have fear in your mind then add teh use of fish in your diet.
