Hi I was on the mini pill for over a month before implant. I had a 25 day period whilst on it but then it stopped and didn't come back until I had implant inserted, so I think it would have been good! You just have to be patient. On the Implant, I was on my period for 6 MONTHS straight not a single day off, so the mini pill is much better than that! I've had implant removed now and back on mini pill, still on period but it's gotten lighter now hopefully it will stop in a month or two.

From what I know, the POP (progesterone only pill) isn't normally used to ease endo symptoms or PMS- you're better off using the Combined Pill for this because it has oestrogen as well. I've tried both the POP and CP and it was only the combined that resolved my PMS symptoms. I bled irregularly on the mini pill and still cramped during my periods.
If you're sensitive to hormones, maybe consider a coil (either non-hormonal or a smaller variation of Mirena such as jaydess or skyla)
