Miniere's and TMJ?

Hello everyone! I am new here and happy to have found this forum. I am 59 years old. I had two horrible drop attacks of vertigo were I fell to the floor and could not get up for a few hours because the spinning was so horrific. I have ringing in the ears, fullness in the ears, migraines, fluctuating hearing loss in addition to a permanent mild hearing lost that just happened as these symptoms got worse (about 2-3 years ago). The 1st ENT said it maybe both Miniere's and TMJ. The 2nd ENT says its TMJ. She sent me to a neurologist that said my brain looks ok. I also had an MRI to rule out tumors. I know that TMJ and Miniere's symptoms can mimick each other. Now I am inclined to think that the 1st ENT may be correct because even though I have the classic symptoms of TMJ, the drop attacks are more associated with Miniere's (according to what I have read). Can anyone provide me with more information regarding my situation? I will appreciate any information or thoughts. Thank you!

Because the spinning was significant in your words, preventing you from getting up, and because your brian MRI was normal, my feel that this may actually be vestibular migraine.  Have you had a hearing test (audiogram) done?

Thank you for the prompt response. Yes, I had an audiogram and I have a high frequency bilateral hearing loss. My ears always have pressure in them. Some days are much worse than others. My hearing went completely out in the right ear but came back. As I indicated previously, my hearing fluctuates on top the hearing loss that I have.

I have also been diagnosed by the 2nd ENT with Chronic TMJ and MAV (Migraine Associated Vertigo). The ENT believes the TMJ and MAV are part of the same problem.
