Oh Michelle I know just how you feel. It's a horrible, horrible place to be. You just want to batten down the hatches, stick your head under the duvet and forget the rest of the world. I really hope you start to feel better soon x

    Hi Michelle,

Mirena coil has hormones on it and it can make you have mood swings. Depends on how long you have been taking Prozac though. The initial weeks would be the worst. Stick to it though. You might need to specify what is the dosage you have been prescribed. You might benefit from a lower dose.

Meanwhile, make sure you keep yourself well hydrated and do have your basic meals three times a day. You must do this or else you will feel terrible. Sleep will always be an issue but don't worry about that. You will do fine.

it took out the doctor said my cervix was raw which showed them my body didnt take too well, to prostergone i also piled on a lot of weight which I lost straight away when I had it took out, unfortunately I ended up having a hysterectomy becasue my periods were that bad,I tried having the lining of my uterus removed but that went wrong and left me in even more pain,I was only 42 when I had iot done 4 years ago,on the plus side no more periods and the negative side lack of hormones as I had a total one really messes with your head thats why I am now on Fluoxetine.
