Mirena coil caused acne, what contraception should I try next?

So, cutting a long story short(er) here, any questions you have I am happy to elaborate further on. I got a mirena coil fitted in October 2017, loved it with no problems at all, other than acne, because of which I had it removed this week after 7 months. Prior to this I was on Yasmin (combined pill) for 6-7years and attributed a lot of problems to this (poor vision, aura, binge eating, fluctuating mood). When I decided to get my coil removed I talked myself into Yasmin being good for me and I was just being dramatic (as I knew my skin was perfect on this and I think this is was just a desperate attempt to get back to that), I have started taking this again as I had pills left over from before coil fitting and already 5 days in I have noticed a marked reduction in vision, mood changes and change in appetite/eating habits therefore I don’t think this is for me however I’m scared to try anything else how due to side effects of coil.

Technically I should be on the combined pill given my history of aura however most other forms of contraception are progestin only (as is the coil). Granted, the type of progestin will differ from method to method however understandably I am still scared to try something different as it may be that the progestin in general is the thing that is triggering acne for me.

Has anyone had the same problem or a similar experience? Any help, advice and information re this would be greatly appreciated.
