MIRT AS AN ADD ON

yep the dr has just done the same with me i take venaxine 75g and mirt 15 mg at night

i do find the mirt do make me sleep and do help a bit with the nerves but i do find a wake about 4 in the morning and cant get back to sleep have u found this

do u get depression with ur as well

NO I SLEEP RIGHT THROUGH UNTIL ABOUT 10 AM I DONT HAVE DEPRESSION AS SUCH, ONLY WHEN THE ANXIETY STOPS ME FROM DOING SOMETHING I WANT TOO, LIKE I AM DESPERATELY NEED TO GO TO THE HAIRDRESSERS, BUT THE THOUGHT OF SITTING IN THERE AND NOT BEEN ABLE TO RUN WHEN I WANT TO SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME. EATING OUT IS ANOTHER SCARY PLACE THAT I DONT DO.

god i wish i could sleep untill 10 lol i am the same as u i have to have someone come round and cut my hair i wount go to the hairdresser dentist or anything like that mine all started when i was 21 in was in rhondes on holiday and had a very bad panic attack and ever sence then i have bad depression and anixty still to this day i dont know why and what ever i take i dont stop it

how did urs start

i didnt even know what it was to start with i was at the hospital having every test going

do u know what started ur if u want to talk about it

and what help u get of the nhs

i still work but that real hard going

miNE APPARANTLY HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TO ME AS A CHILD.BUT I HAD A REALLY BAD PANIC ATTACK AT A PLACE I USED TO WORK, AND I CAN STILL REMEMBER IT TO THIS DAY, AND THATS WHERE I THINK MINE STARTED.

DID THEY TELL YOU WHY THEY HAD ADDED THE MIRT ?? MY PSYCH DIDNT JUST TAKE THIS AS WELL AND YOU WILL FEEL A LOT CALMER!!

I CANNOT WORK BECAUSE OF IT, SO I HAVE TO ADMIRE YOU WORKING, SOMETIMES I WISH I HAD A LITTLE JOB WITH NO PRESSURE JUST TO GET ME OUT OF THE HOUSE.

my dr added the mirt because he said that venalaxine is just a normal ad so he added the mirt because i was not sleeping and he said it real good for anixney the only problem he said was watch ur weight as it can easy make u put on weigh and i got to go back and see him again next friday and soon i going to be having some cbt so maybe that will help

have u tried cbt

how do u get on with the serxot i used to feel really ill on that

Hey Hows it going, I tried cbt and it did nothing, I have been on seroxat in the past 40mg and it gave me my life back, I came off it very slowly with no problems. I know its had bad press in the past, but it took me 12 mnths trying to convince my gp that it had worked and all that he was prescribing was,t and believe me I have tried them all even venlofaxine, prozac was the worst citalopram felt like i had drunk a bottle of vodka 2 hours after taking it.

So off I went to the mental health hospital to see a psych, he gave me seroxat, its actually paroxetine, and my usual pharmacy said they couldnt give me seroxat because it was to expensive, so I tried Boots and they are more than happy to order it in for me,\"GENERICS\"hey and they say theres no difference, but for some reason it didnt work as well as last time so they added mirt. Sorry to ramble I went 10 mnths with no medication and BAM my brother in law died of cancer that was 2 years ago. it took 3 overdoses it was really a cry for help as i didnt want to die but i didnt want to live like i was, seroxat decided it wasnt working and i got refered to a really great psyc who added mirt first 15mg then after 6 weeks all the anxiety came back i phoned my cpn and she said its just your body telling you that 15mg is not enough and she upped the dose to 30mg i am 5 days in and feel all calm again as the psych said this is what mirt will do.

glad with the mirt 30g things are calming down for u

i work as a chef and it is real hard at times my dr as been messing about with my ad at the mo so i am off sick from work at the mo feel really crap at the mo

i really worry about the future as i know it not normal to be like this and how am i going to get though life

but i so hard every time i leave the house it like this feeling of dome come over me i feel like i am going to faint and get this horrable feeling come over me and tell me to go home driving though norwich in the morning feeling like this is a nightmear

i seem like i have no choice i think i go mad sitting in the house alday with nothing to do and having no money

thing just seem to get getting a bit on top of me at the mo

my dr said this is caused my derpression they to together but i am not to sure like him have his life like this and see how fun it is

i am so please i started to talk to u it nice to know someone in this world understand i started to think i was the only one

anyway i hope u get that haircut sometime and i chat real soon

hows u the dr up the mirt to 30mg and he said that should sort out the sleep and make me more calmer he also signed me off work for a month he said he think i need a good rest

NOT GOOD THIS LAST FEW DAYS SINCE BEEN ON 30MG REALLY BAD ANXIETY BANGIING HEADACH AND VERY TEARFULL AND DEPRESSED, WHICH IS A NEW ONE FOR ME ,BECAUSE I WASNT DEPRESSED BEFORE. JUST FEEL LIKE IM UNDER SOME BLACK CLOUD, NO MOTIVATION AND JUST WANT IT ALL TO GO AWAY.

DONT KNOW IF I WANT TO CARRY ON WITH THE 30MG OR JUST RIDE IT OUT AND HOPE IT GETS BETTER.
