Mirtazapine 15mg dizziness

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hello,

I'm currently taking Mirtazapine 15mg for 2 weeks for anxiety. I am suffered from extreme dizziness and whooziness from day one.

Has anyone had a similar experience on this medication? Is there any hope? Will this side effect go away?

Thank you in advance.

Jen

IT WILL GO AWAY IT JUST TAKES TIME WHILE THE MED ADJUSTS IN YOUR BODY AND BRAIN . I HAVE BEEN ON IT FOR 2.5 YEARS AND IT TOOK 2-3 WEEKS FOR IT TO LEVEL OUT IN MY BODY BUT AFTER THAT ALL THE SIDE EFFECTS SLOWLY SUBSIDED FOR ME..BESIDES THE INCREASED APPETITE AND WEIGHT GAIN WHICH FOR ME WAS A GOOD THING BEING THAT I LOST A LOT OF WEIGHT PRIOR TO BEING PUT ON MIRT. YOU WILL BE OK THOUGH IT JUST TAKES A LITTLE TIME, BUT ITS WORTH WAITING IT OUT DEFINITELY!! ALSO I AM ON 15MG AS WELL.

YOURE WELCOME. I WOULD SAY 4-5 WEEKS BEFORE YOU CAN START SEEING REAL RESULTS. I ALWAYS GAVE 6 WEEKS BECAUSE EVERY PERSON AND EVERY MEDICATION IS DIFFERENT. IM GLAD I STUCK WITH MIRTAZAPINE BECAUSE IT HAS HELPED ME SO MUCH, IT TOOK GOING THROUGH TRIAL AND ERROR WITH A FEW OTHER MEDS BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. I HOPE IT WORKS OUT FOR YOU ALSO!

Hello i've never been on these I was on a tablet called Sertraline and fluxotene, they seemed to work for me tablets affect people in different ways if you don't feel like they are working for you maybe go back to see your doctor and ask them to change your medicine for you.
