Mirtazapine 15mg help please

hi all I'm on 30mg of citalopram which I've been on for a while now 12 years. my doctor has prescribed me mirtazapine for anxiety and depression now to take with my citalopram has anyone been on the combo and found that it helped ? I'm on day 2 today of mirtazapine and I feel.okay apart from a bit agitated and my head feels tight is this normal please ? thank you for reading. I've heard that some people take citlopram and mirtazapine and it's been a miracle combo for them.

    i take 15mg mirt. the first days and felt VERY tired and a bit spaced out, after about a week I was fine

      thank you for your reply. what are you on mirtazapine for? doc said after a month on being on 15mg I should increase it to 30mg as its more of an antidepressant at higher doses

      I was put on it for anxiety. I don't know that it has been too good for that but it has been a godsend for has been my sleep. I used to have terrible insomnia, on average I would sleep 2-3 hours a night. Now I pass out for about 7-8 hours straight. Apparently at low doses it has a hypnotic effect
