Mirtazapine 15mg increasing to 30mg for depression. Anyone had positive effect from this?

Just upped my dose last night after seeing a fab psychiatrist yesterday. I don't feel so wiped out on this dose so far. I'm also on venlafaxine 257.5mg. I'm really hoping this helps. This bout of depression has lasted nearly 5 months and would like to start living again!

My dose was upped to 30mg a few days ago.  Second night's dose just made me so drowsy the next day.  Ok after last nights.  15mg and 22.5mg didn't do much for me, so hoping the 30mg does more for the depression and anxiety. Only thing my eyes seem blurry,  don't know if it's anything to do with Mirtazapine.

I found the first day of upping my dose to 30mg made me really drowsy. I felt OK when I first got up but it got worse as the morning wore on and lasted all day. Hoping today is better.

Yes I have always had the blurrey eye thing on Mirt, somedays ok some day worse, no rhyme or reason really as to why, but it is a common side effect of Mirt.
