Mirtazapine and quetiapine?

Been on mirtazapine for 12 weeks with very little effect on my depression and anxiety. Spent 2 hrs with psychiatrist this morning who has added quetiapine to the mix?

Any positive reviews welcome!!

    Hi Joanne,

    My psychiatrist also gave me quetiapine 6 months ago on top of my citalopram 40mg and he told me it was to help " boost " the citalopram and I have to be honest it has helped, some side effects were uncomfortable at first, the usual dry mouth and did suffer from restless leg syndrome for a while which disturbed my sleep.

    I started on 50mg slow release at night then increased to 100mg after a week.

      Thankyou for reassurance. After a long long chat with psychiatrist and taking quetiapine last night and this morning I am feeling slightly more positive already..let's hope it continues xx

      Feeling really low today and wondering when the hell I am gonna feel 'normal' again xx

      How are you feeling now? Hope a bit better. I am on sertraline and quetiapine too.
