mirtazapine and venalaxife any good

just had my meds changed to 30mg mirtazapine and 75mg venalaxafine has anyone else  tried this combination or are you on it , how did you fair on it , any feed back would be good

    Despite what Ema says meds are often the lifeline you need to get well, when thrown a lifeline you don't compkain about the colour of the rope.

    Venlefaxine is a great antidepressant and anti anxiolitic drug, your on quite a low dose but it is very effective and has been my lifesaver for years. I've never taken Martazapine but I've had it with Buspirone, Propranalol and Diazapam, I no longer take those three but take Olanzapine instead with Venlefaxine and noticed the improvement within days.

    Getying fresh air, exercise and eating and sleeping well also helps.

      thanx for your reply , i take on board what ema says but when you are at the point of despair you will take any help , i need to get better before i can tackle the root cause

      What is olanzapine?..if you don't mind me asking..did your gp prescribe the two together??.. Just had setback at Xmas while on 150 mg venlafaxine  am now up to 300 mg yesterday  with sleeping tabs to help.
