Mirtazapine,Buspar, and alcohol

I have a question. I am on 45mg mirtazapine and 10 mg Buspar. My friends birthday is this weekend and I really wanna drink with my friends. I never drink only for important events but since I’ve been on my medications I haven’t drank yet. I was on sertraline and drank alcohol, I was fine. I was just wondering if anyone had experiences with mirtazapine,Buspar and alcohol. I know it’s not recommended, I’m willing to take that bit of risk. I just wanna know if there’s any HORRIBLE causes that could happen. I’ve been on mirtazapine for 6 months and Buspar for 3 months

    Hi there ,

    Usually it is not adviced to drink when you are in medication. I was once on mirtazapine 30 mg and I also drank too. My advice is don’t drink right after you took the meds. If is arounda few hours apart, it would be better.

    Buspar and drinks =throwing up as experience no good skip it and enjoy ir drinks😁anexity sucks but always remember you live once enjoy every day as its ur last💯

    I can tell you alcohol and buspar do not mix!! Never had an issue with zoloft and alcohol though!
