Mirtazapine to Citalopram

So Mirtazapine 7.5mg hasn't worked for me for a few months now , my Gp wants me to come off the Mirt and go onto Citalopram , so with his advice im doing 1 week every other night , next week every 2 nights , 3rd week every 3 nights then a week off and then start low dose Citalopram , has anyone done this before and can give me some pointers on what to expect . i did increase the Mirt to 15mg for 10 weeks but it made me a suicidle wreck , literally just cried and had the worse anxiety ever on that dose

    hello how are u on changing to citalopram? ive not long changed from mirtazipine to citalopram as i didnt get on with the mirtazipine x
