Mirtazapine Withdrawal extra or skipped heartbeats

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have noticed, that in addition to all the other demons, I am having frequent palpitations (extra/skipped) heart beats. I have that problem, and it is controlled by medication, but now it seems to be breaking through. Anyone else had this?

    Hi David,

I haven't experience that myself. Since the palpitations were pre-existing the Mirtazapine I would see a doctor or at least check with a pharmasist. Sometimes moderate - mild drug interactions get overlooked.

I just discovered that I shouldn't be taking ibprophin with Lithium - in the five years I've been on the medication it's only just been noticed. As you probably know, there are sites online where you can find out about drug interactions. Good luck.

I need to clear up the previous post. I am no longer taking the Mirtazapine but are 23 days into withdrawal from my last 7.5 pill. David

I have them, had it checked and they were harmless. If it worries you, definitely get it checked out. Just to make you feel better. Better safe than sorry.
