Mirtazapine Withdrawal - Fatigue

Posted , 10 users are following.

I am having significant fatigue, going into my 8th week since the last pill. I also have seasonal allergies and the pollen is bad right now. I am just wondering if fatigue (weak legs) has been a problem with others in this process. I haven't done much walking since this has been going on, as it has literally kicked my butt! Allergies make me feel bad in general, but this year is far worse than it ever has been, and I am wondering if the withdrawals are contributing.

Increase in allergies would seem to be the antihistamine effect from Mirtazapine no longer being provided. The obvious solution, which would also help with sleep, would be to take promethazine hydrochloride, known by many other names but including phenergan and someone. It's a sedative antihistamine generally prescribed for things like Insomnia, motion sickness and I believe allergies. It's available over the counter but I would recommend you speak with your doctor about this first, even though doctors I can know so little about what is really best for us especially when it comes to mental health medication. We are all guinea pigs really.

Sorry, I meant to type 'Sominex' instead of 'someone'!
