Mirtazapine withdrawal - how long??

I was taking 15 mg of mirt for about 2 months. I was having weird, disruptive dreams that made it very difficult for me to sleep so we are going to try something else. Doc told me to take half dose (7.5mg) for a week. Well, I took 3 or 4 half doses then stopped completely because I just couldn't take the night time psychosis anymore and now I am suffering terrible withdrawals (high anxiety, tremors, crying, overall feeling of dread). Today is day 6 since I stopped mirt altogether - PLEASE tell me this will only last another few days.
