Mirtazipine withdrawal symptoms

Hi everyone,

i hope i can find answer for my question

I have taken mirtazapine 30 mg for 4 months then I reduced it to 15 mg for 3 months

then I stopped it as my Dr. mentioned to me.

it's about 2 months from stopping it completely

but I still suffer from insomnia

big memory problems

concentration problems

difficulties with talking and thinking

negative thinking

confusion

bad mood

will these symptoms last for long time?

and what should I do?

    Usually withdrawal symptoms disappear within about 1-2 months from last dose. Some people seem to take quicker or longer, everyone is different. Are you sure you're not just back to your old self?

    Also, you tapered too quickly, should've went something like 15mg -> 7.5mg -> 3.75mg -> 1.875mg -> stop
