Miserable after Nissen

I had NISSEN 6 months ago and i still cant eat more than 2 bites without feeling nauseated and throwing up. DOCTORS don't care about how you feel its about the money and how much they can make on a surgery. The doctor that performed my surgery DR STEPHEN HEINZEMAN IN BIRMINGHAM AL claimed he had a lot if experience performing this surgery. i was hospitalized twice for dysphagia and he continued to tell me it was part of the healing process. After 6 long months and no quality of life i have been to other doctors that have told me its too tight and i will never recover unless I HAVE IT UNDONE. Its hard to trust anyone so i have been to 5 different physicians. I KNOW none of them care its all about the money but i need my life back. I cant even drink water without throwing up

Hi, feel I needed to reply to you as I definitely can say I have experience. Briefly I have had 3 Nissens in ten years. My second one was done too tightly, I felt nauseated for 9 months solid it was hellish. They stretched it a couple of times and after 9 months the nausea went but it was determined it was too tight via the usual tests which I guess you are familiar with. I looked 6 months pregnant with the tightness and my normal stomach was flat! This was very uncomfortable and one of the reasons I went for the third op. They revised it and lasted 7 months without Omeprazole and am now back on the medication and expect to be on regardless now. The last revision did improve all the bloatedness so am grateful for that as it was particularly unpleasant. You don't say if you have had the tests again if you haven't these need to be done asap to check, it its tight this will show up on the tests. A second revision can be a sucess so dont be put off but this operation is not for the faint hearted as the recovery can be miserable. I wish you the best of luck with this as I know it can be heartbreaking and tough!
