Missed sertraline tablet

I’m on dose 50. Have been for nearly 2 months now, I missed a tablet the other day and for the past 3 days I’ve had chest pain and my anxiety has been awful. Do you think this is because of the missed dosage?

    Hi Jasmine, 

    I'm on the same dose and for about the same amount of time. I missed one a few weeks ago and felt slightly more anxious than usual, I think it's just the drugs feeling more prominent in your system after missing a day. Try to relax and not worry too much if you can. When I feel like that I just take an hour out of my day and do something easy to take my mind off how I feel and tell myself it's ok to not think about all the other stuff I have to do until I feel better.

    Hi, I know people who have been taking it years who still feel a bit rubbish if they miss a dose, hope things improve for you soon x

    I am on 150 mg of sertraline and have missed a dose more times than I can count and it has never affected me in the slightest.  2 days yes but not 1.  x
