Missed tablet

I missed a tablet this morning - I had 60g of rice crispies and 300ml of red milk which totalled 1g of fat (wow! I'm doing this more often!) I took my tablet as soon as I remembered it - will this be a problem? I'm having a bad three days of oil too I have no idea what I ate wrong :'(

I took a tablet late before didn't have any side effects from it, may just effect his it works for that meal. I keep a written log of food just in case of any oily incidents fingers crossed none so far.

I use Myfitnesspal and log everything and haven't eaten anything bad since being on them really - I ate two cookies in my first week but was within my allowance so I don't know what I ate! It's been going on for two days! I've lost 7lbs so far. If anyone uses MFP feel free to add me!

I dont think it would be a problem.

I would love bad oil poo days! I can eat anything i like and these pills dont care at all. I wanted to have a bad reaction so it puts me off eating bad food again but it hasnt! Been taking them for 10 days now so they must be in my system by now!

I'm too scared to eat things in case of accidents especially after a lot of posts about the orange oil. Have you weighed in yet?

I have no will power and once i ate 1 thing naughty and survived i carried on - no side effects at all apart from wind. No i dont want to get obsessed with weighing so doing it every 4 weeks at the doctors. You?

Should be fine, you can take them before, during or up to an hour after you eat. You are very lucky with the oil thing - I have seen no reaction at all in 5 weeks but up to yesterday I have been so strict and never broken it once, and now I've been constipated since Tuesday, so decided yesterday (upon my husbands recommendation that perhaps not eating enough, and certainly not enough fat) to eat really badly to see what happens. Had 3 cadbury creme eggs, sausages, and kebab and chips for tea, AND took 2 laxatives before bedtime to see if I can shift something - NOTHING! Not even wind today. So going to have fish and chips for tea with tablet and 2 more laxatives before bed to see if I can shift someting - look more pregnant that normal! These tablets def not working for me so have my first weight in with doc on Wed so shall take my notes of what I'm eating and see what she says. I'll probably have to come off them as don't like taking medicine if it's not having any effect. So I say lucky you and well done, keep going.

Thank you lovey! Oh it's such a shame sad I hope they find something that works for you! I'm hoping to possibly come off of the tablets in a few weeks as I'll keep to the low fat as often as I can as I know it's the low fat that has helped me really and given me a boost! Fingers crossed a big loss this week too! Fingers crossed for you hun! Are you logging your foods at all? x

Hi Kat, yeah I log everything and was being really really strict so I was so upset all day Friday. But anyway, after eating loads Friday and having fish and chips for tea last night and a pudding of apple crumble and custard, thought I'd weight myself this morning just to see. Anyway, low and behold stepped on the scales and lost 2.5 lbs since Friday morning. Now really confused. Now I may have lost that anyhow if I had weighed myself today and not pigged out last 2 days, but I am just relieved and have gone straight back on to being good with the 5g fat and 1400 cals per day. My husband is pretty certain my body shocked itself into starvation made at the low calorie intake, and maybe he's correct, I shall just have to keep going now and see how it all transpires. I think you are sensible to come off the tablets if you think you can manage the low fat option yourself as it really is the best way forward. You look young in your picture and so hopefully these habits you've altered these past few weeks will stick and you will be successful. I hope so and shall keep my fingers crossed. As I'm mid 40's and have been putting weight on since mid 30's I have 5 stone to lose so really hoping these tablets help.

Well done! Im 24 but have a history of bad genes with the women in my family, they're all overweight and can't lose it due to health problems like endometriosis etc. so I'm trying to get it off as soon as I can. I have really bad genes (my doctor agrees) so as soon as I eat anything bad I put it straight on and can't lose it easily sad Good luck my lovely! What do you use to log your food? X

Oh god, that sucks, that must be awful for all you ladies in your family. You are so right to get cracking with this whilst you are young. You will be successful because you are so determined and aware of the health problems etc. I log my calories/fat myself in my own little book which is on the kitchen side the whole time and goes in my handbag when I go out. I decided to go the old fashioned route of working everything out myself. It's quite easy really as everything comes with the energy/calorie/fat content on the back of the package these days. Figured if I get in really good habits doing this myself then it "should" encourage me to double check everything moving forward even when I am not officially dieting anymore as I am obviously going to have to watch/count everything for the rest of my life. How much are you aiming to lose?

Well done for logging it all yourself! I use myfitnesspal, I'm so bad at maths! haha! I'm aiming to get to 9 1/2 stone and then tone up, I've got a stone left to lose smile going to weigh myself in the morning to see how much I've lost this week, hopefully a lot!

Good luck, I hope you have a good result. I have my first weigh in with the nurse on Thursday and I think I've lost about 10lbs but will have to wait and see what her scales tell us. Fingers crossed. Let me know how you get on. X

Good luck for you! I put on 2lbs but I'm on my monthlies so I'm hoping it's just that! I've been weeing like a racehorse the past 2 weeks due to the tablets and haven't since I've been on properly so hopefully water weight!

Bummer! Just don't weight yourself for another 2 weeks at least cause my weight is up and down like a yo yo weekly but the general trend seems to be downwards over the 5 weeks I've been on them. I've got over my distress of last week and have settled back into this properly this week. Weigh in tomorrow - fingers crossed. Anyway, you are doing well overall and have lost weight in 2 weeks so forget the MacDonalds and start again - we all need treats every now and again otherwise it's impossible to keep going long term. Keep your chin up.
