Missed two days antibiotics can I resume taking them

i was away for two days and forgot my antibiotics at home so i missed two days

(4 tablets)

can i resume taking them

    Gotta finish the antibiotics. People who start and don't finish become more and more resistant to antibiotics over time. When the docs give you the strongest thing they have and it doesn't work...well, 18,000+ people die from antibiotic resistance in the US every year...and that number just keeps going up. I was married to a pharmacist for 25 years. This topic would really set her off because it can quickly turn into a matter of life and death. Finish ALL the pills!!!!!

    Check with a medical professional, pharmacist or doctor, to see whether it's best to do that, start the course again or maybe switch to another antibiotic to be on the safe side.

    You need to check this with whoever prescribed the antibiotics.
