How does missing doses of Sertraline affect you? Thanks

How many doses do you need to miss for it to affect you and what side effects do you have? At what point do the withdrawals kick in? Thanks

    Oh the withdrawl will kick in eventually.  Why are you missing doses, are you still on Sertraline.

    I missed a dose on xmas eve last year , xmas day evening I had a panick attack , it subsided quite quickly , then a few days later it happened again , then I was fine again. Why do u ask?

    Some people miss doses and it doesn't affect them.

    most people find that if they miss one dose, it's usually ok and no big deal

    some people are ok missing a couple of doses

    any more than that and you may start to feel some discontinuation type effects (eg. tingling feelings or generally odd/uncomfortable feelings)

    so try not to miss doses.. but if you forget one, it's not a disaster so no need for panic
