Mixed Blepharitis in plica semilunaris

I’ve been suffering with pain and swelling in my plica semilunaris for the last month, after using a finger to remove a lash from my eye. It’s been diagnosed as mixed blepharitis and the current treatment is generic maxitrol drops. That helped with the worst of the pain, but not the swelling and that is almost constantly bothering me to the point of tears because I hate it. sad anyone else get blepharitis in this weird spot? I’m afraid of how long it will last, I can’t enjoy anything.. next checkup is in a week.

    Not familiar with this term. Maybe you could explain what that is.

      Which term, plica semilunaris? It’s the membrane under the little bulb in the corner of your eye. Had to google to figure out what that spot was, myself.
